How To Play

The game is played as three individual hands. Each hand is playing against the hand below it. To win, you must win more hands than your opponent.

Each player is dealt a card. They may either "hit" or "stand." Each time they hit, another card will be dealt. The game ends when both players bust or stand. The player closest to 21 without going over wins! The hand with the highest total wins as long as it doesn't exceed 21; a hand with a higher total than 21 is said to bust or too many. Cards 2 through 10 are worth their face value, and face cards (jack, queen, king) are all worth 10. An ace's value is 11 unless this would cause the player to bust, in which case it is worth 1.

The player to get closest to 21 without going over (busting) wins. If both get 21 but one player has a 2 card (natural) blackjack (ace and a face card), they win. You must click stand when you want to stand or you will timeout and lose the game. The game will not automatically stand for you unless you get 21.

Ties

If one of the players never starts the game or both players time out without standing, the game is declared a tie. If both players bust, or both players are dealt the same value (and neither is a blackjack) the game is declared a tie.
